VERY RARE OFFICER'S ALLGEMEINE-SS 37TH FOOT REGIMENT,
1ST COMPANY SS-UNTERSTURMFÜHRER'S SERVICE TUNIC.

Tunic of an UNTERSTURMFUHRER of standarte 37, Linz, Austria.
First Sturm (denoted by cufftitle).
Has old fighters chevron, and was worn in the 1935-1940 era.

Tunic has been also check for originality
by Peter Whamond from Collector's Gild:

-Tunic is original.
-All insignia is original.
-Award loops correct.
-Stitching of the insignia.
Hand done to be of the correct style for that time period.
Note:
There is one are on the piping of the "37" tab that lights up under UV exposure.
Most probably do to a cleaning solution contamination.
However, the tab looks correct and the embroidery style is correct.
Very nice rare overall example.

VERY RARE and absolutely beautiful
General of the Infantry
Edmund Glaise v. Horstenau Jacket.

General of the Infantry Edmund Glaise v. Horstenau born February 27 1882 .
Austrian office ; during World War I he was among other things, liaison officer between the Austro-Hungarian and Germany army commands; 1925 director of the Austrian war Archives; 1936 to 1938 minister without portfolio in the Schuschnigg cabinet; March 1938 to March 1940 Vice Chancellor or Minister of the Interior under Seyss-Inquart; and subsequently in the Armed Forces High Command (inspector of the war graves). From April 12 1941 to September 7 1944 perhaps by chance, at the time of the Italian crisis. Glaise committed suicide in the Langwasser camp on July 20 1946.
Uniform :General of the Infantry Edmund Glaise v. Horstenau Jacket has field gray/green color, 8 gilt pebbled finished buttons on front. Bullion General collar tabs, excellent gold bullion breast eagle, shoulder boards, lops to chest for orders and badges.Parade double General Aiguillette complete with ferrule & button loops.Polished gray/green cotton lining , faded name on the tailor label inside pocket dated 1938 ;  # 328
E.G.v. Horstenau also tailor name C.F Heyne, Weimar.
Hat , belt and decorations are not included

On the left side sowed patch with prisoner number 5328 .
On the red triangle show some ink stamped "P".
Red inverted triangle-a political prisoner.
The color red was chosen because it represented the communists,
the political enemies that the Nazis hated most and the first to be officially outlawed.
Many red triangle wearers were interned at Dachau Concentration camp

Ultra rare officer's greatcoat for an Artillery officer
in the 3. SS Panzer Totenkopf Division .

The greatcoat is a nice officer's example
with scarce flatware bevo eagle,
red piped shoulder straps for artillery or assault gun,
and very desirable hand embroidered vertical Totenkopf tab.
Beautiful grouping all original and untouched!
Coat well marked.

having been a former member of the Police or Armed Forces,
in this case the GESTAPO (as denoted by the piping on the sleeve diamond).
This member is now assigned to the staff of an SD district or sub-district.
