RARE EARLY 1930's Army Officer's Dove Head Sword
with hand engraving .
  The hilt decoration has been achieved through engraving, not casting.
The factory chiseler was a realy good.
The langet features an engraved closed-winged Army eagle,
which holding a swastika in its talons.
Triple twisted wire on the grip.
Marked: Stamped Firm's name WMW WAFFEN
(indicating manufactured by Max Weyesberg)

This trademark features a horseshoe style design
between the Siegfried Waffen.

LUFTWAFFE ALUMINUM OFFICER’S SWORD
Blade in full very good condition and is 31 1/4" in length.
The grip is a wood base having fine blue Moroccan leather covering.
The leather is in very good condition show minor ware.
Grip is tightly wrapped with dual springy wire.
The pommel with gold painted and swastika oak leaves decorating the outside.
The scabbard is covered with matching blue Moroccan leather,
which also is in good condition .
The scabbard mounts are the satin aluminum type.
Unmarked example.
