WW2 GERMAN MILITARIA - Miscellaneous

This is a super field-made "trench art" lighter commemorating service in the Afrika Korps.
It is made from sandwiched sheets of aluminum with hand engraving of a palm tree, pyramids and swastika, along with place names of cities throughout Africa.
It is very well made and mechanically it functions well.

AFRIKA CORPS LEATHER WATCH BAND

Here's another great souvenir of service in the Afrika Korps- this time in the form of a custom leather watch band!
The band is inscribed with "Afrika" in German above the same in Arabic, the obligatory palm trees, the location "El Halalefa", date 12/5/43, and initials "SH".
The watch is a 1920's-30's Hamilton and is not functioning.
The very tip of the leather strap is missing.

A. AFRIKA KORP RING

Beautiful classic worn Afrika Korps ring made of silver mounted with a thin gold plaque which is engraved with a palm tree and swastika.
There are also palm trees engraved on either side of the ring.

B. 1943 SICILY RING

A souvenir of Sicily from 1943, the year of the Allied invasion.
It is likely that it was made for an Allied soldier due to the fact that "Sicily" is written in English.

AFRICAN SERVICE MEMORIAL PLAQUE

An African service memorial plaque in the shape of the African continent.
It appears to possibly have been carved from a piece of a table top, it is very well done, with a detailed relief along the coastline and a representation of the course of the Nile river.
Towards the top of the plaque is a carved relief Iron Cross with a German helmet in profile in the centre and the date 1939 at the bottom.
Inset into the lower end is a brass rectangular plaque bearing the inscription "Erinnerung an Afrika" (Souvenir/ remembrance of Africa).
Overall, a very aesthetically pleasing piece.

Standard-Bearer's groget for the NSKOV, organization for officers who were veterans of the First World War.
This specimen has an unusual 2 piece neck chain designed to be suspended from buttons sewn under an open lapel (as found on the NSKOV uniform).

RLB - Luftschutzwart Plaque (türplakette)

Silver-plated stamped metal ( aluminum) door Luftschutzwart plaque.
On top we see the starburst and swastika ( RLB logo) and under Lluftschutzwart in Gothic letters.
This pattern plaque was designed to be placed on the house door of RLB members for identification in case of air raids.
Measures 12,2 cm by 8,2 cm and is in very good condition.
