Reichsheer Pioneer Visor Cap
This model of visor cap was introduced for wear in 1920 for the new "Reichsheer", Germany's greatly reduced post Versailles army.
This model standardized many features which later cap to define the headgear of the Third Reich- namely the two-buckled leather chinstrap, the wreath surrounding the cockade on the cap band, and the colour "waffenfarbe" piping system that denoted branch of service.
This particular cap is piped in black for the Pioneers (Engineers), and is marked to Pioneer Battalion 2 of Prussia and dated 1927.
Overall the condition shows moderate wear- mainly to the ersatz leather sweatband- and some moth nips to the crown.

PRUSSIAN GENERAL'S PARADE TUNIC
This is an absolutely superb example of a pre-1909 parade tunic of a Prussian General.
It includes its original and correct aiguillette (with two stars) on the right shoulder, and the unique twisted shoulder cord on the left shoulder.
There are loops for a long medal bar, as well as numerous loops for badges/stars on the left breast.
It is fully lined in red cloth, whiles the sleeves are lined in off-white (there is a property stamp from a wardrobe in the right sleeve lining).
The condition of this tunic really is exceptional; usually the bullion has darkened greatly, whereas the bullion embroidery on this tunic retains much of its original gilding.
There is one small visible repair of three stitches on the right shoulder.
