Army 1st issue tropical pith helmet. The helmet is made of formed cork, and is covered in a ribbed, tan/khaki cotton twill.
The helmet features a six panel, vertically seamed, tan/khaki cotton twill crown.
The all around visor is shorter at the front and consists of a formed cork core with a two piece tan/khaki cotton twill covering with vertical stitched seams at each side.
The edge of the visor is trimmed with stitched on olive green leather. The helmet has two stamped metal shields with the Heer style national eagle to the left side and the national tricolor shield to the right side.
There are no extra holes, and the insignia is original to the helmet. The bottom edge of the visor is lined in ribbed, olive/khaki cotton twill and the interior crown is lined in light weight red cotton.
The interior of the helmet has a tan leather sweatband, stitched to a pressed cardboard liner band which is attached to the helmet by six prongs The underside of the sweatband is marked "57" and has the makers stamp/date of "MM 1941".
The helmet comes complete with its original green leather chinstrap.

This is a spectacular and rare Heer dress pith helmet. These are often described as KM Administration officer's helmets, but the silver badge is identified as being for the Heer parade pith in the Assmann catalogue (along with a Luftwaffe version!). It is the same construction as the standard 1st pattern pith helmet only employing white cotton for the cover and white leather for the trim and chinstrap. The interior of the visor is lined in green cotton, while the crown is lined with red.
The underside of the tan leather sweatband is maker marked "A.Sch.K" and size 58.

Heer 2nd model tropical pith helmet. The helmet is made of formed khaki felt. The top center of the crown has a raised removable felt covered circular dome with three semicircular cut out ventilation holes. The all around visor is shorter at the front and is trimmed with stitched on olive/khaki leather. The helmet has two, stamped metal alloy shields with the Heer style national eagle to the left side and the national tricolor shield to the right side. There are no extra holes, and the insignia is original to the helmet. The bottom side of the visor is lined in green material and the interior crown is lined in red felt.
The helmet has a tan leather sweatband marked "APN 1942 56".
The helmet comes complete with its original olive leather chinstrap with a sliding, alloy length adjustment buckle.

The all around visor is shorter at the front and consists of a formed cork core with a two piece tan/khaki cotton twill covering with vertical stitched seams at each side. The edge of the visor is trimmed with stitched on brown leather. The helmet has two stamped metal shields with the gold national eagle to the left side and the national tricolor shield to the right side; they are unbordered which is correct for the KM. There are no extra holes, and the insignia is original to the helmet. The bottom edge of the visor is lined in green cotton as is the interior crown. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather sweatband, stitched to a pressed cardboard liner band which is attached to the helmet by six prongs.
The underside of the sweatband is marked "ORL 1941" and "57"; the obverse has an embossed maker's logo. The helmet comes complete with its original brown leather chinstrap.

This is a nice green Luftwaffe tropical pith helmet. The helmet is made of cork which is covered with a green cotton twill fabric. The edging and chinstrap are natural tan leather. The top is capped with a removable ventilated fitting in matching green twill. The eagle is the correct type of painted zinc. The interior of the brim is lined in the same green cotton, while the crown is lined in red. The tan leather sweatband is marked on the underside with its size- 59, and "ORL 1942", while the upper side has the embossed ORL logo.

Luftwaffe cold weather flying helmet that includes the dark brown leather shell, ear phones with their dark brown, smooth leather covers.
Securing straps, buckles, fittings, hooks, and the elasticized pullout straps all intact.
The helmet interior is fully lined in white wool.
There is a nomenclature tag at the rear of the helmet nicely marked with the Fl. Kopfhaube Gr. (Model type) LkpW101, and other official Luftwaffe information.

Kregsmarine stamped steel construction helmet.
Parade green paint retains about 70% of its original.
Left side of the helmet has a Wehrmacht eagle shield decal featuring a deep, golden yellow eagle.
The eagle decal is retained about 80%.
All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact.
The interior of the helmet has an M31 leather liner with all eight of its original fingers and a tie string intact.
The interior crown of the helmet has a faint, illegible, black, oval, Beschaffungsamt, (Procurement Office), inkstamp.
Stamped, "3668", and stamped with the manufacturer’s code and size, "ET64", indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 64.
Original owners name is painted to the inside helmet apron.
Chain strap is NOT included is added to make helmet looks better.

It was camouflaged with a tropical tan finish for use in the desert camouflaging.
This finish remains 75% intact overall camouflage paint.
The original dark green combat finish is visible inside.
There is a dark brown leather liner with inks stamp 60 (size).
The reverse, interior, neck guard apron has a stamped serial number "7071".
Manufacturer’s stamped code and size, "Q68" indicating manufacture by F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.

Great M-40 single decal Heer helmet with its ORIGINAL tropical overpaint!
The decal, which is 85% plus, has been carefully painted around when the pinkish/tan coarse textured paint was brush applied.
The original liner and chinstrap are both present to include the original drawstring- both show moderate use and wear that match the rest of the helmet, but no damage!
The final feature of note is the original owners name and number, "A. Munz 48470" painted in white paint on the interior skirt.
The helmet is well marked.
The condition is excellent, and all original.

Camouflage M35 single decal Kriegsmarine helmet.
Super tan and green pattern sprayed overtop paint and decal; decal has been exposed through natural wear by about 50%.
Liner and chinstrap are in excellent condition, the latter also being well-marked.
Both lining and shell are marked with the owner's name- Gernand.

Heer M35 single decal tropical helmet.
Standard green M35 that has been brushed over with tan Afrika Korps paint, carefully done to originally leave the Heer decal exposed.
The liner shows age and some water damage to the tongues, but is fully intact along with the original chin strap.

Double decal M-35 Luftwaffe helmet retaining about 50% of its original tan tropical overpaint.
The decals appear to have been cleaned/exposed after time of painting, and survive in the 50-60% range.
The original liner is salty, having darkened, and shows a few rips.
Original chin strap is present.
Well marked shell.
This is a hard to find helmet that's really been there!

Heer M42 camouflage helmet.
This helmet exhibits the classic "Normandy" colors, nut has been brush painted rather than the more commonly seen spraying, and also has a very rough finish created by an additive to the paint (possibly sawdust).
The interior retains its original lining and chin strap.

The Luftwaffe combat steel helmet retains about 95% of its original Luftwaffe blue/grey paint.
This helmet was originally painted in a smooth finish, which remains inside, and has been overpainted on the exterior with a combat rough finish. The left side of the helmet has a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal which is 100% complete and nicely lacquered.
The interior of the helmet has a tan leather M31 liner with blue ink marked size 56.
All the liner fingers and the original tie string are complete.
The reverse interior neck guard is serial number stamped ?? 151.
Interior left side has stamped manufacturers code and size "Q64" indicating manufacture by F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H. Esslingen, size 64.
Complete, original, 1940 dated chinstrap. Great helmet!
Nonetheless, a killer helmet in extraordinary condition.
