KREGSMARINE TROPICAL OFFICER'S M-41 FIELD CAP
This is a mint example of a factory-made Kriegsmarine officer's tropical M-41 field cap.
Like the vast majority of these KM caps, it is lined in green cotton.
The markings consist of a black ink stamped RB number, 1943 date, and size 58.
Externally, the cap retains its original bevo type insignia which is machine zigzag attached to the cap.
Furthermore, there is a trim of yellow piping running along the upper edge of the turn-up which denotes an officer rank cap.

Heer winter fur cap.
This specimen is quite striking in that the rabbit fur used is pure white, unlike most examples.
The rayon lining is well marked with date 1945 size 58 and maker logo hard to read.

The cap has the classic high peak and rounded saddle shaped sides.

Extremly Rare Early 1934 SS Officer's Silk-Topped Visor Cap
This is an extremely rare, early SS officer's cap with a silk top.
Officers had to pay a premium to buy these caps, and few chose to do so,
making them one of the hardest to find varieties.
This one, which dates from 1934, has survived intact in great condition and shows only minor wear.
Over time, the sweatband has dried out and adhered itself to the oilcloth RZM label,
resulting in some damage to the reverse of the sweatband.
A couple of chips to the forward edge of the visor have been touched-up with black,
but there is very little else to detract from this rare piece!

This example is produced in Luftwaffe blue/grey lightweight cloth.
Hand applied to the front peak is a machine embroidered Luftwaffe eagle and red/white/black cockade.
The flaps are connected at the front by a pair of blue/grey finished pebbled metal buttons.
The interior is fully lined in grey rayon.
It is stamped with a year 1944 RF Nf.0/0454/0041 and a size, which is 54.

DLV ENLISTED MAN'S VISOR CAP (Schirmmütze)
DLV Enlisted Man's visor cap by the well known manufacturer Clemens Wagner.
Worn from c.1933-1936, this cap was the predecessor of the Luftwaffe cap and is almost identical, save for the absence of coloured branch piping, and the unique DLV insignia.
Cap exhibits little wear overall and no damage apart from two tiny moth nips to the upper row of piping.
Size approx. 57-58. Scarce.
With this hat we also have available tunic.

The lining is well marked with a black inkstamp, size "56", and the manufactures name and location, "Lago-Berlin", indicating, Landes Lieferungs Genossenschaft-Berlin, (State Supply Cooperative/Association-Berlin) dated 1941.
B.II. 40 mark indicating the cap passed through the army’s clothing depot in Berlin in February 1940.
The additional markings appear to be post-war applied, museum and/or film works control markings.

Scarce Allgemeine SS officer's visor cap in used but excellent condition.
This visor cap is a classic, "textbook" piece if ever there was one.
Fine quality wool cloth with a Lindner velvet sweatband, the piping is also wool and has a few minor moth nips.
The underside of the visor bears the correct RZM SS stamp, while the black silk/rayon lining is unmarked, as it should be.
The celluloid sweat diamond is missing, but the sweatband is fully intact, perforated at the front and with the remains of orange foam padding at the forehead. RZM tag is the 1935-36 variety, as are the nicely toned and matching cupal insignia (both original to the cap).
The aluminum chin cords are held in place by two silvered, textured RZM marked buttons, originally sewn. The size is approx. a 55-56.

The reverse of the cockade is marked with manufacturer’s initial and date J.F.S.1939 indicating manufacture by Josef Feix Söhne of Gablonz.
The Shako has a blackened leather chinstrap with aluminum sliding length adjustment buckles.
