LUFTWAFFE TROPICAL FIELD CAP
This is a Kriegsmarine tropical cap which has been period re-badged as a Luftwaffe cap.
It is factory made using typical construction and materials- green lining, double ventilation eyelets, and appears to be unmarked.
It was not uncommon that tropical caps from other branches were utilized by the Luftwaffe, and this one has had a machine embroidered eagle on tan triangular backing (as found on overseas caps) hand applied.

This is a tropical Heer overseas cap for an EM or NCO of the Panzergrenadiers.
It retains its original insignia to include a light green soutache (machine applied), cockade (machine applied), and eagle (hand applied).
The only marking on the red cotton lining is the size stamp "57"

ARMY OFFICER'S TROPICAL FIELD HAT
This interesting cap likely is a field produced piece, or it may have started life as a Luftwaffe cap, as evidenced by the tan interior.
Furthermore,it has been upgraded to an officer's cap by the addition of aluminum twist cord around the crown.
The front center of the cap has a hand sew machine woven tropical eagle and kokarde. Inside is a tag bearing the owner's name- Otto Blanke.
The approximate size is 56-57
Excellent worn example with only some minor staining below the kokarde.

ARMY M-40 TROPICAL CAP
This is a scarce example of a later war Heer tropical M40 cap.
It is a nice dark olive colour, and retains its original machine sewn eagle and cockade.
Unlike the vast majority of tropical caps, this one is constructed with a leather sweatband, which is fully intact.
The red cotton lining is ink stamped with an RF number, size 56, and a 1943 date.

Luftwaffe blue/grey, wool construction cap.
Front with a two blue painted buttons closure at the front center.
The front center of the cap has a machine embroidered, second pattern Luftwaffe eagle in silvery/grey threads and a machine embroidered national tri-color cockade.
Left side of the cap has three color enameled 2nd Parachute Corps Insignia.
The interior of the cap is fully lined in blue/grey rayon.

KREGSMARINE NCO's M-41 FIELD CAP
M41 tropical field cap as worn by Enlisted Ratings and NCO's of the Kriegsmarine.
The cap retains its original machine applied insignia.
The typical green cotton lining is marked by a French maker "Chapelière Parisienne", and it appears that it was originally size-marked 57, and has been resize marked 58.
This cap, unlike many of this type, is nicely field worn and has a lot of character!

Olive/khaki cotton construction.
The front center of the cap has a machine woven, national eagle on tan rayon base.
The cap has both sides painted metal ventilation grommet.
The interior of the cap is fully lined in light weight red cotton.
The lining is well marked with a black size inkstamp, "56", and is nicely maker marked CLEMENS WAGNER MRZ 42 BRAUNSCHWEIG-HAMBURG.

KREGSMARINE M41 TROPICAL FIELD CAP FOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER'S
M41 Tropical field cap for Administrative officers of the Kriegsmarine (as denoted by the silver eagle and piping).
Typical green lining for this branch of service.
Marked with black ink RBNr. 0/06/78/5015 6/43 60
RB numbers, Reichsbetriebnummer (National factory code number), were introduced in late 1942 and were intended to replace the manufacturers marks on headgear, garments and equipment to conceal the manufactures name and location from the allies, to prevent bombing raids on German industrial factories.
Dated 1943, size 60.

LUFTWAFFE PANZER EM/NCO OVERSEAS CAP OF THE REGIMENT GENERAL GORING.
This is a lovely, classic black overseas cap as worn by enlisted and NCO armoured personnel of the Regiment General Goring.
It has its original, hand-applied insignia, and great manufacturer and issue stamps.
The first is the stamp of the prestigious Berlin manufacturer Robert Lubstein (Erel), dated 1941, and the second marking, in the crown, denotes the cap as having been issued to the 1st Battalion of the General Goring Regiment.
The unit was re-named later that year as the Hermann Goring Division, once Goring had been promoted to Reichsmarschall.
The condition is near-mint.

This is a 1942 dated tropical Luftwaffe field cap.
It is factory made in a pattern and materials resembling a Heer M40 DAK cap, having a center seam in the crown and a red lining.
It retains its machine embroidered insignia; the eagle has been zigzag stitched by machine and does not go through the lining.
Marked "Mutzen Fabrik Dretzen, Rheydt" and size 58.

LUFTWAFFE EM/NCO'S WINTER SHEEPSKIN FUR CAP. (Pelzmütze)
Luftwaffe sheepskin fur cap.
This design, which incorporates a visor, was used exclusively by the Luftwaffe.
Its constructed of natural white sheepskin (fur side in) and has the typical side/back flap which buttons up in place.
The front is adorned with a machine embroidered Luftwaffe eagle and cockade, both sewn in place by hand.
Ink stamped size 59.

ARMY M-40 TROPICAL CAP
This is a later war Heer tropical M40 cap.
It remains a nice dark olive colour, and retains its original machine sewn eagle and cockade.
The eagle is unusual in that the backing has not been folded behind for the entire circumference, but instead folded into an inverted triangle- this was an expedient intended to reduce labour during production.
The red cotton interior is marked with an RB number, 1943 date and size 57.

LARGE SIZE ORTSGRUPPE LEVEL NSDAP POLITICAL LEADER'S VISOR CAP. (Dienstmütze)
Political Leader's cap futures tan-colored wool/rayon construction.
The cap features a one-piece circular crown piped in blue.
Brown velvet center band, also piped in blue along its upper and lower edges.
Brown vulcanfiber visor.
On the front of the cap stamped zinc eagle and gold anodized, stamped alloy oak-leaf wreath, encompassing a three-piece cockade.
Golden yellow, twisted cord chin strap, attached by gilt washed pebbled metal buttons.
To the interior of the cap is a brown-tan leather sweatband shows us on the front.
Cap is fully lined in a gold colored silk.
There is a rhomboid shaped clear moisture shield which has the script “Deutsche Arbeit” & “Mark Standatd” in black letters.
Under the sweatband is the original brown and white oilcloth RZM, "Reichszeugmeisterei" (National-materiel-control-office), tag with serial number 137520.
HARD to finding this large size 58.
