The reverse is well marked with manufacturer’s LDO code "L/15" indicating manufacture by Otto Schickle of Pforzheim.

1939 pattern, stamped magnetic sheet metal construction, hollow backed award with a black wash.
The reverse is well marked with manufacturer’s LDO code "L/54" indicating manufacture by Schauerte & Hohfeld of Ludenschild.
Excellent condition and black wash on the badge.
